Please note that the purpose of this website is to provide information prior to chatting with us about our Maltese. We do not sell our puppies over the internet.
We are a hobby breeder of pure-bred Maltese that are home-raised and quite frankly – spoiled rotten! We are registered with the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) and have a true passion for Maltese.
Our love of the breed began ten years ago when we got our first two Maltese – Princeton & Lexi. Princeton is now a retired stud and Lexi continues to be a wonderful pet. We are delighted that since this time, our Maltese family has continued to grow.
As per the CKC Maltese Breed Standard: The Maltese is among the gentlest mannered of all little dogs. They are intelligent, vigorous, very affectionate and seemingly fearless. This definition precisely describes the wonderful Maltese!
All of our puppies are pure-bred Maltese that have been registered with the CKC. They are micro-chipped for identification purposes which is also part of their CKC registration. Our puppies are sold under a CKC Non-Breeding Contract. Proof of spay (female) or neuter (male) is required to fulfill your purchase obligation as part of the CKC contract.
We offer a two year guarantee for our Maltese. As a courtesy, we offer two years of complimentary dog-sitting in our home for your annual vacation so that you do not have to worry about finding a suitable caregiver. After two years, you are welcome to continue to have your Maltese stay with us for a modest fee.
Our puppies do not go home until they are at least 12 weeks old. By this time they have been fully weaned from their mothers, they have developed some socialization skills, and they have begun the training process.
Your pure-bred Maltese puppy will have received the following Veterinarian care before he/she is allowed to go home with you:
- 8 week vaccination shot
- complete Vet examination
- tested for worms and de-wormed if required
- 12 week vaccination shot
All Vet records will be given to you when you pick up your puppy.
The first 8 weeks of our new puppies lives are primarily spent living in a special pen in our bedroom. They also spend time with us in their playpen in the living room. After 8 weeks, they are moved out of our bedroom to the “dog room” which is one of the bedrooms across the hall. Between 8 and 12 weeks, the puppies spend much of their time with us throughout the house living with, and learning from, our other Maltese.
Thanks for stopping by to learn more about our amazing Maltese. We are quite proud of our dogs – both our show dogs as well as our delightful pets! We welcome you to call and set up an appointment to come and meet our gang and see if a Maltese is the right breed for your home. We occasionally have Maltese puppies available to approved, loving homes.
Thanks,
Margot & Dexter
